Why do I need WordPress support?

You are a busy professional. The last thing you need to worry about is whether or not your website is up and running. WordPress websites require monitoring, maintenance and backup/restore applications in order to run effectively over time. Your plan will cover all software updates, plugins, themes, security, backups and restores if necessary.

What is a included in the unlimited website edits

Unlimited edits do include edits to content on any page, changing banners, headers or footers, changing plugin settings, CSS adjustments, blog content or context edits, adding a new testimonial or staff profile, changing images or text, adding coupon codes or updating shopping carts.

Unlimited edits do not include custom development (PHP, plugins, themes etc), updating custom code, graphic design, creation of content or building out a new website or subdomain.

Requests for new features to your website will likely result in a formal quote as they are not included in your support plan.

EDIT EXAMPLE:

Included: You want us to upload a blog content that you created with attached images that have been sent with instructions.

Not Included: You want us to create a blog post, find images and upload to WordPress with no instruction for formatting.

What are your usual response time and resolution time?

Most updates will be made within 48 hours. If our Pixies need more time, we will let know if it is outside of that 48 hour window. Communication is key here with response and resolution times!

What happens if my website goes down, is hacked, breaks, etc?

The whole purpose of our client plans is preventative care, so we work hard to prevent anything from happening. The great news is that anyone on our Professional or Premium Plans, we will be doing everything we can to get things sorted as quickly as possible.

We cannot promise your website will not be hacked but can promise we will do everything in our power to prevent it, as well as assist in the restoration and cleanup of the website with one of our backups, should the worst happen.

How is this different from what my web host provides?

Speaking with your web host about technical issues can get a little confusing. We’ll handle all the support related issues so you don’t have to. Additionally, most WordPress websites have a theme and a dozen or more plugins that extend the functionality of the site. Hosting providers rarely perform plugin or theme updates and even if they do they will not check your site to ensure it hadn’t broken anything. 

Security is vital consideration. Few hosts provide the level of security required to protect your site. Web applications require constant attention and updates to remain safe from the latest security vulnerabilties.

We will monitor, update and secure your website throughout the month and make sure that every piece of content and code is perfect.

What if I need something that falls outside my plan?

If you have a task that is beyond what is included in your plan, we will submit a quote for you to approve separately.

Do you offer custom development?

Yes we do! Custom development is outside the scope of our care plans. You’ll detail the project to our technical team and we’ll give you an accurate estimate and only start working once you give us the green light to move forward.

How do Strategy Session work?

Strategy calls are reserved for clients on our Premium Care Plan. They help focus a trajectory of the website or digital marketing for growth and improvements. 

You simply book your strategy session via the link on our website and we’ll be ready with the agenda to make the most out of the call.

Does the monthly tasks rollover?

No. We reserve time for a resource to care for your site and carry out any requests each month, therefore it does not rollover.

Scheduling time this way allows us to respond promptly and your request will be picked within the service level for your plan, and then addressed immediately.

Do I have to commit to a contract?

Our monthly Care Plan is billed using a recurring monthly subscription. There are no contracts to sign, setup fees or cancellation fees with our monthly plan.
